The First Lady of Ukraine visited the United States and during her stay in Dallas, she met with George Bush and Laura Bush. She said: "I am grateful to the Bushes for their understanding and support for Ukraine over the years, and also for giving me the opportunity to introduce to American philanthropists our projects that help children, teenagers and large foster families. After experiencing a difficult winter and facing the threat of Russian shelling every day, the support of international partners is crucial for their well-being. I thank the Bush family and all those who understand Ukraine's plight: Ukraine's struggle concerns the entire free world and its values. We can only defend these values by uniting as one."
